The Line 6 HX Stomp Purple Special Edition is a professional guitar processor that takes the groundbreaking sounds and effects of Helix HX modelling technology and shrinks them down to a compact, pedalboard-friendly format. Equipped with over 300 different simulations of amps, speaker cabinets and effects, the HX Stomp acts either as a super stompbox, an audio interface or a complete rig on stage and in the studio. Also, its stereo inputs and outputs, an effects loop, and connections for expression pedals and footswitches ultimately ensure that the Line 6 HX Stomp is at its best in absolutely any audio environment.
Superior HX Audio Quality
As a member of the HX family, the Line 6 HX Stomp naturally offers the crystal-clear audio quality of professional HX modelling technology and a dynamic range of an impressive 123db for immense headroom with low-noise operation. Also, the processing power of the DSP offers enough reserves to use up to 6 blocks (amps, cabinets, effects,...) simultaneously without any problems.
Easy operation, fast editing
Despite its compact dimensions, the HX Stomp is easy and quick to operate. With its 320 x 240 pixel LCD, the HX Stomp provides a detailed overview of the activated effects chain at all times, while three footswitches with colour-ring LEDs are available for control by foot. Switching via MIDI command, via external footswitch and even controlling individual effect parameters via an external expression pedal is also no problem for the HX Stomp.
Versatile connection options
With a wide range of connections, the HX Stomp was prepared in the house of Line 6 for every area of use. For quickly set-up rigs, the HX Stomp can be played like an ordinary effects pedal in front of the amplifier, or thanks to the effects loop can also be used via the 4-cable method in conjunction with the amp. Also, the use of the floor modeller with active monitors or as an extension for additional signal processors via MIDI control can be switched via the MIDI In and Out/Thru jacks.
