Laney Digbtech DB200H video:
200 Watts Bass head with FET and TUBE Drive channels
With the Laney Digbeth DB200H, the amplifier manufacturer from the British Black Country presents an extremely handy bass amplifier with flexible sound and straightforward concept. While up to 200 watts of power provide for low-end furore in the rehearsal room, FET and TUBE Drive channels deliver versatile sounds together with the uncomplicated EQ.
FET and TUBE Drive
At the heart of the Digbeth DB200H are the FET and TUBE Drive channels. While the FET channel stands for an extremely transparent sound with unadulterated output of every note, TUBE Drive stands for juicy vintage crunch with authentic rock'n'roll attitude. Both channels can not only be used alternately, but also mixed with each other to create rich distortion sounds with a perfectly defined low end.
Simple but effective EQ
To customize the Bass sound Digbeth DB200 Head from a Laney offers a simple but surprisingly effective equalizer. The compact Bass head offers four selectable EQ curves, whereby the intensity of the sound adjustment can be regulated. For general tuning of the tone, a tilt EQ is also on board, which emphasizes either the low or high frequency ranges.
Practical connections
Last but not least, Laney's Digbeth DB200H bass amp offers a number of convenient connections for use during practice, rehearsal and recording. Via the serial effects path, Bass effects can be integrated into the signal path to give the Bass sound the final touch. For direct signal pickup, there is also a balanced DI-Out on board with a selectable pickup point. Furthermore, an aux-in for the output of backing tracks and a headphone jack complete the DB200H Bass head from the Laney Digbeth series.
