E String sounded dull and muted (which is the sound I was after) but the other strings were bright and new sounding. So put some Vaseline on the other strings (thanks Scott) and this made them all sound the same as the E. Perfect.

Very nicely made strings but, like most flatwound bass strings - very expensive for what they are. This website's prices, however, were better than any other UK supplier.
