LD-Systems U505 CS 4 at a glance
The LD-Systems U505 CS 4 is a wireless true diversity UHF conference system consisting of four microphone units with condenser microphones and a 4-channel receiver. The conference system enables effective communication through excellent voice quality and the use of state-of-the-art technology. With the LD Systems U505 CS 4, your conferences, meetings and discussions are guaranteed to be a success.
microphone units
The four microphone units of the LD Systems U505 CS 4 have a gooseneck condenser microphone with hypercardioid characteristic and illuminated ring for status indication. In addition to the XLR microphone connector with 28 V phantom power, the heavy table base has a button for on, off and mute, as well as a gain control and a switchable 130 Hz high-pass filter that effectively reduces proximity effect and structure-borne noise. A high-contrast OLED display shows radio frequency, battery status, station number, group and channel. The audio transmission range is from 60 Hz - 16 kHz.
4-channel receiver
For fast and convenient system setup, the 4-channel receiver of the LD Systems U505 CS 4 conference system has an automatic frequency and channel search, infrared synchronization, a digital encoder and four buttons for direct access to the individual channels. At the same time, the high-contrast OLED display provides a complete overview of all functions and settings such as audio and radio signal strength or priority and battery level of the microphone units. To suppress crosstalk, feedback and comb filter effects, the number of simultaneously enabled microphones can be specified.
The optional automatic or manual gate setting and a pilot tone ensure first-class sound quality and interference immunity of the U500 ® conference system. In addition to individual channel outputs, the receiver has a sum output, an access lock prevents unauthorized changes to the settings, and the RS-232 interface allows integration into external control systems.
For system expansion, up to five LD-Systems U500 receivers can be cascaded and operated in master-slave mode, providing a maximum of 20 microphone units.
