The Korg Triton Taktile 49 is a synthesizer and MIDI keyboard all rolled into one and packed to the hilt with awesome features that will enhanced your creativity.
The preset sound module used in the Triton Taktile 49 includes the 512 program sounds built into the original Trition and allows for control of various parameters. (Please note this is a sound module, not a full synthesizer, so not all parameters are controllable.)
The 49 keys are semi-weighted so are ideal for both live use and for pattern creation back in your studio. In addition, the Triton Taktile 49 has 16 assignable velocity sensitive trigger pads for beat and sample creation and manipulation, eight rotary controls, eight faders and eight switches, all assignable, and transport controls.
There is a high contrast OEL display for function navigation and a hardware arpeggiator featuring six types and 50 rhythm patterns, so even if your synths don’t feature arps, you can still create complex randomised patterns.
In true Korg style, there is a Kaoss pad at the core of the Triton Taktile 49 that allows you to control parameters of your software synthesizers in an X-Y format, effectively turning your soft synths into Kaossilators! The pad even doubles as a USB track pad removing the need for a mouse when control your DAW onscreen.
The Korg Triton Taktile 49 connects via USB, outputs via stereo ¼” balanced TRS mini jack and has MIDI In/Out on 5-pin DIN.

I purchased this Korg to support my song writings in LogicProX as a MIDI keyboard, and it integrates nicely. The keys are really nice, way better compare to my Maudio keyboard. I also have an original “Roland D50”. The dinosaur keys are different but I can not say which keys are better.
But I purchased this model ONLY for the sound, and I was not disappointed. Pianos and Organs sounds way better compare to ALL my plugins I have. Also Basses, Strings and Analog-Synths are top-notch.
The only downside is an ONLY analog output available to capture the sound from this Korg. But I can live with it. I wish I newer purchased all my pluggins, but purchased this Korg from the beginning. Looks like I spent on plugins more then on this Korg)
I replaced my very old midi keyboard with the kort taktile and i must say i just love it, rely easy to use, amazing functionalities and comes bundled with a excellent set of plugins.
The only dislike i have is that the jack out for the built in sounds its not the best choise korg has made....
"+" :
1) "Built in" sounds are good
2) Many controllers
3) Good dimensions and weight
4) Many additional vsti synths on Korg site to download
5) Power supply = your smartphone power supply(not for Apple i guess)!
6) R2D2 and old 8-bit games sounds can be made by kaoss-pad! ))
"-" :
1) Keyboard feels like very cheap, thought it would be more solid
2) Headphone/Line out on one 3,5mm jack - for live performances needs an additional 3,5mm to two 6,3mm jacks
3) Short "use only this cable" usb cable
Good "start-level" keyboard/controller for its price. If the keyboard would be more solid and outputs would be more different - it will be awesome, but it's just good.
