The Korg Kronos 73 (Black) is a 73-Note Synthesizer Workstation with 9x independent Sound Engines including the new SGX-2 Premium Piano Engine, a Berlin D Grand Piano which includes 12x Dynamic Piano Layers, String Resonance, Sympathetic Strings Resonance, Una Corda Function and 9GB Sample content. The rich Sound Selection was created by the best sound designers in the world, and includes Kronos Expansion Libraries, Artist Signature Sounds and many Pre-Set Sounds of famous Songs.
Intuitive Operation
The new TouchView Colour Display enables fast and intuitive operation through the Touch & Drag Function. The Set List Mode is now displayed with many new colour options, text sizes and a full-screen Text Editor, allowing for even more customization and a better overview. Thanks to the Numeric Buttons located right next to the Display, you can drag and drop as many Patches as you like as well as edit Pre-Sets, which is invaluable on stage. If required, texts and numbers can also be entered via a connected USB Computer Keyboard.
Full Control
In addition to the clearly arranged Touch Display, the Kronos offers many other refinements, so that the musician always has the upper hand in realising their vision. Whether composing in the studio or rocking out on stage: the clearly designed Panel allows the immediate implementation of your creative ideas. The Joystick is the first step and can be used in the classical way to fade 4x Vectors (components) of a sound. Other Functions can also be freely assigned to the Joystick by the user, whilst programming of all operating elements is very easy using the clear Display. The assignments of the multi-assigned Rotary Controls can be read conveniently from the Panel, enabling direct intervention and immediate changes in several dimensions of the synthesis. Numerous Faders are installed for Volume adjustments of Channels 1-16. In addition to the main Volume Control, the Volume of the Sum Signal can also be controlled via an especially dedicated Master Fader, which is helpful for complex Effect Routings and other complex circuitry.

Had my Kronos 73 for about 10 months. Yes it's a learning curve, but there are plenty of videos and in the worst case scenario you could always read the manual! This beast has everything I want and more. The Keynes us just the right weight for me, great for piano but I can still do the fast organ/synth stuff ok - love it!
Amazing set of sounds and features. The more detailed features can be quite complicated at first, and the temptation can be to just stick to the basics and presets because the sounds are quite inspirational and it’s just nice to play, but once you get the hang of the programability it opens up so much more. Only real downside is that you can become so absorbed, it’s hard to stop, and you may want to give up the day job!
