The Korg KR-55 Pro is a professional drum and percussion computer with recording function and effects. With 24 styles and several pre-programmed patterns, it leaves nothing to be desired. Thanks to the numerous inputs, the mixer function, the equalizer and the recorder, studio-ready beats can be produced. Guitar, bass and microphone inputs allow complete multi-track recording and mixing. The whole thing can then simply be recorded to SD card thanks to the interface function. It is also an excellent player for backing tracks during live performance. The Acoustage technology simulates perfect surround sound and the tuner function with large display and voice output enables uncomplicated handling. Operation with 6 AA batteries is sufficient for up to 7 hours of continuous use.
Korg's Real Groove Technology is a process in which different professional musicians were recorded at different speeds. This ensures that the reproduction of the KR-55 Pro always remains realistic. The total of 24 high-quality rhythm styles have been carefully adapted and perfectly convey the experience of playing together with a world-class percussionist. Since the sounds, grooves and phrases are reproduced in flawless quality even when the tempo changes, you can always choose a suitable speed for your jam sessions. The 24 styles can be easily combined with the chain function, allowing complex song structures to be created and combined for up to 999 bars.
The inputs can be used to connect guitar, bass and a microphone, allowing complex multi-track recordings to be made and stored on SD card. The Stereo AUX INPUT can be connected to digital audio players, keyboards or effect devices with stereo output. A total of up to four channels can be used. In addition to integrated rhythm styles, the KR-55 Pro also has a versatile recorder for recording a wide variety of input sources. So you can easily record your own performance to the integrated rhythm styles, your favorite songs or self-created karaoke tracks and then export the data as a WAV file to an SD card.
The integrated audio player of the Korg drum computer can also be integrated in the live set of a band. If you want to use programmed beats between songs or even play individual instruments from the computer, this is your device. The audio player function of the KR-55 Pro can play audio files (WAV) from an SD card. With the help of Acoustage technology, the device can be used as a high-quality playback system or to prepare backing tracks. The playlist function (10 banks) helps to manage the playback order of up to 24 songs during live performance. In addition, the song speed can be changed in the range of -25 to +25 % and files can be played repeatedly or automatically one after the other.
