The OS update to version 2 of the KAOSS Replay is a significant improvement based on user feedback and significantly enhances the workflow and performance. The number of effects has been increased to 209, and up to 16 samples or loops can now be played back simultaneously. New features include enhanced loop recording settings, quantisation options, time signatures, a pre-count function, a metronome and improved sampling options. Additional sample editing tools such as trimming, normalising, inverting and pitch adjustment facilitate sound creation. Version 2 also offers intuitive pad info and adjustable volume levels for flexible mixing.

In addition, for the first time in the history of the KAOSS series, KAOSS Replay is equipped with dedicated vocal effects suitable for a wide variety of genres, ranging from subtle pitch corrections to precise pitch tuning.
These effects can also be easily automated using the PAD MOTION function or set to a fixed value in TOUCH HOLD mode. Furthermore, the FX Release function ensures smooth transitions on request by allowing the effects to fade out seamlessly.
A dedicated microphone input skilfully rounds off the comprehensive overall package of the KAOSS Replay, which thus enables both spontaneous improvisations and well-planned sets with numerous creative effects.
