The Korg Cliphit is a new breed of electric drums. It's composed of three clips with internal sensors, as well as a foot switch. Attaching these clips to everyday mundane objects brings them to life, and turns them into parts of a drum kit. For example, clipping them to a magazine, desk, or almost any surface, transforms it into a snare, hi-hat, or cymbal. Aside from normal drum sounds, the Cliphits programmed EFX sounds include dog sounds, cat sounds, hand clapping. Attaching clips to practice pads breathes new life into your drum practice.
The clips are velocity sensitive, meaning the harder you hit, the louder the sound. The volume can also be independently adjusted for each clip. There's a 3-inch speaker with 2W output and a bass-reflex design, delivering great-sounding tone for your drum performance, or connect headphones or an external speaker system for an even bigger sound.
Eleven different combinations of kits are provided. If you add an optional pedal switch, you'll be able to simultaneously play a total of five different sounds, three with the clips and two with the pedal, expanding your drum performance to hi-hat open/close or double bass.
