The newly developed 16250 guitar wall mount leaves nothing to be desired. The thick rubber stirrup hold any guitar safe and secure. Since the bars are moved individually suited the holder also for guitars with asymmetric necks. The straps connect under load and thus pinch the guitar neck. The thick strap cam lock and also prevent rotation of the guitar in the holder. Despite its robust design, the holder has a low weight and is also mounting them very space efficient.
The main features of the 16250 include:
I wanted a number of hangers to get my guitars and basses out of their cases and easy to access as I have been setting up a home studio. I have put the hangers high up to give me maximum wall space below and because of that I looked at these as they have the spring mechanism and I can lift them and drop them in from above and the holders will pull down to suit the guitar headstock.
These are absolutely perfect. They are plastic but are well made and I have 100% confidence that the guitars are safe and are not going to fall out. I have some K & M guitar stands and they are a great design, and so I had an idea that these would be ok, as K & M seem to know their business.
They are made so that when hanging an acoustic guitar almost touches the wall, and so there is a small gap when hanging an electric (which is just the difference between the electric and acoustic guitar depth. I have electrics, P Bass and an acoustic and it works equally well for all types.
This does not come with screws which is fair enough as you should really fix it with something suitable for whatever your wall is. I am just buying a couple more. I I did look at other options but i'm glad that I went with these. Highly recommended.
