The OT1000 is a reliable AES/EBU cable, which offers protection against interference due to its balanced signal routing by stranded wire pairs and a dense spiral shield with a coverage of 95%. This guarantees extra good and undistorted signal transmission. Excellent performance is also ensured by its good workmanship and outstanding electrical values. Since the outer diameter measures only 4.6 mm, cabling is clear and space-saving. The increased flexibility also facilitates winding and stowing.
Balanced transmission is used in professional applications, such as in recording studios, because it ensures freedom from interference even over longer distances. Cables with balanced signal transmission have an additional useful signal-carrying conductor through which the same voltage is sent, but whose oscillations are mirror-inverted.
