Klavis Grainity Black Granular Filter
The Klavis Gra inity Black is a unique mixture of analogue multimode filter and granular synthesis. The multimode filter offers the filter modes Lowpass 12/24dB, highpass, Bandpass and notch, while the granular section allows structure selection using a predefined list, setting a divider and setting Phase and Offset of a cycle. It should be mentioned at this point that both filters work analogously and share Cutoff and resonance. Only the granular section is controlled digitally and applies phase and amplitude corrections to the audio signal. There are individual outputs for the filters and a mix output. The latter links the filters using a voltage-controlled crossfader. With the Grainity, working with formants, subharmonics and classic filter sounds is pure joy.
