The Ketron SD 1000 sound module is a professional sound module designed specifically for computer work and MIDI applications. In addition to Ketron's well-known melody sounds, it offers another 512 brand new orchestral sounds at the highest level, as well as a new Grand Piano, Brass and Sax. It also features new guitars and basses developed with multilayer technology, as well as new stereo pads, strings, synths, electric pianos and accordions based on the MULTIVOICE system, so you can feel even more absolutely realistic music under your fingers. The Ketron SD 1000's New Live Drum Modeling features 47 brand new acoustic and electronic drum sets, as well as 248 audio drum loops, which is one of the most remarkable features of this unit.

NEW EFX INSERT creates new effects such as High Quality Distortion, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, 4 Band Parametric EQ, Compressor, Delay and Rotary in addition to the old familiar elements of Reverb and Chorus.

Among the traditional applications of the KETRON SD 1000 is the combination with a MIDI player or computer, it is equally well suited in conjunction with a master or multipurpose keyboard, connectable via MIDI or USB.
