Smart Studio Monitor
The KRK Rokit RP8 G5 is an active 2-way studio monitor with an 8-inch woven Kevlar® aramid fiber woofer and a 1-inch acoustic silk dome tweeter. It has a 203W Class D power amplifier, which provides more headroom and outstanding dynamic reproduction. In the fifth Generation of the RP7 monitors, KRK has also used a new transducer design, giving the speakers improved response and accuracy over their predecessors. The RP8 G5 also features three voicing modes (Mix, Create, Focus)with 25 boundary and tuning EQs that can be set and adjusted via the LCD screen on the back of the unit.
For the first time, the KRK Rokit monitors are supplied with two front panels, which can be easily attached and removed using magnetic fasteners. The monitors are supplied with the protective front panel as standard. There are also integrated fixing points on the sides of the studio monitor that can be used to easily attach an optional mounting bracket to the device.

The voicing modes
The modes have 25 boundary and tuning EQ combinations that help to minimize and correct problems in the respective acoustic environment.
Mix mode, with flat frequency and phase response, is best suited for mixing, mastering and critical monitoring.
Create mode is a more inspiring voicing that is best suited for writing, producing and casual listening.
Focus Mode is a mid-focused voicing for critical analysis of the midrange, where voices and most instruments have the most energy.
