The KRK RP8 G3 (Generation 3) is a powered studio monitor designed for near-field mixing, mastering or playback. It features an 8” glass-aramid woofer combined with a 1” soft-dome tweeter, making the monitor capable of delivering up to 109dB max SPL over a frequency range of 35Hz-35kHz. With a bi-amped class A/B power design and a waveguide tailor-made for the widest possible sweet spot and precise stereo imaging, the KRK RP8 G3 continues in the footsteps of its hugely successful predecessor.
Each component is carefully chosen to maximise clarity, bass extension and accurate detail in the mid and upper range, so that any program material will be represented as closely as possible to the original. When mixing on the KRK RP8 G3, you can be certain that your EQ and balance decisions will translate across other listening environments. If you’re looking for a great all-round powered studio monitor, the KRK RP8 G3 is an excellent choice.
It is quite good equipment and for this price it is excellent. Good sound. especially bass it is deep, and really low.. ideal for electronic beat music. KRK RP8 G3 will let you very easy to set bass line and beat in your mix. in the beginning I made too bass mixes, but it was very easy to learn how they work, and how to set bass level, eq, to receive dynamic sound . Im always checking results on different speakers, car speakers etc, comparing to other music, . good feeling of stereo image also. before them, ive used Yamaha HS80 and Truth 3031. so it was really very easy to learn how they work to receive good results. for me it is very good choice. I really like to work with them.
