Flamenco guitar, 4/4 size, solid, spruce top, cypress body, 650 mm scale length, 52 mm nut width, pickguard, high gloss finish.
With the traditional Profesor Flamenca, luthier Juan Hernandez embodies not only the spirit of Andalusian Flameco music, but also the craftsmanship of traditional Spanish guitar making. Typical for a flamenco guitar, the instrument develops its characteristic tone with an easy response which is favored by a fully solid construction and a construction consisting of a spruce top and a cypress body. In addition, the top is equipped with a pickguard (golpeador), which allows a percussive playing style, so that the high-quality spruce wood of the top is not damaged. A flat mahogany neck with 18 frets, which are embedded in a noble ebony fretboard, combined with a nut width of 52 mm and a scale length of 650 mm, allows the player to master even extensive tone sequences or chords easily and without much effort. Golden tuners with their smooth pegs allow for precise tuning and round off the Hernandez Profesor Flamenca perfectly.
