The Jackson X Series Soloist models stand for real metal guitars with good looks, fast playability, stunning sound at an affordable price. On this SLX DX Polka Dot, the Naytoh body is seamlessly joined to the full-length maple neck. The bound laurel fingerboard with 12"-16" compound radius has 24 Jumbo frets, Perloid Sharkfin inlays and follows a 42.86 mm wide Floyd Rose Special Locking nut. The polka Dot satin Finish finish makes the X Series Soloist SLX DX a real eye-catcher, while the exquisite features make this guitar a powerful and reliable workhorse.

Full-length maple neck
As the entire instrument serves as a resonating body when the neck and body are joined in this way, the result is improved playability with great stability and long sustain. Whether in the studio, rehearsal room or on stage, thanks to the truss rod flanked by graphite rods, the neck does not warp even in the event of large temperature differences or humidity. The X Series Soloist SLX DX does not require any string trees or other string hold-downs, as the scarf joint connection on the inclined headstock ensures high string tension and an optimum contact angle on the nut.
Thanks to the volume and tone controls, you always have full control over all the sounds produced.
Active Jackson High-Output Humbucker
For the pickups, Jackson relies on its own active high-output humbuckers. These units have a huge output and deliver rich, lush sounds with maximum overdrive and sustain. A small white Jackson logo can be found as a visual detail on the elegant black covers of the two humbuckers. Thanks to the three-way switch installed by Jackson, the tonal variety is significantly increased and almost all genres can be skillfully covered. A volume and a tone control ensure quick and convenient control of the sounds produced.
