Two active Seymour Duncan AHB-1 Blackout humbuckers in neck and bridge position of the Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 can be adjusted with two controls each for volume and tone and a three-way switch. The result is a modern metal sound with decent output and aggressiveness. Furthermore, a Floyd Rose Special double-locking vibrato bridge provides long sustain and sound stability.
Structure and Hardware
The striking shape of the Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 is composed of a poplar body with a full-length maple neck. The overlying fingerboard made of Indian Laurel wood is equipped with the Jackson Sharkfin inlays and offers optimal playing characteristics as a speed neck with compound radius. The X Series body is rounded off with a matte Finish in army drab olive green and black brevels. Hardware and headstock are finished in matching black for a look that emphasizes its powerful tone.
