Maneuverable playability and enormous tonal variety
The Jackson X Series ConcertBass CBXNT DX V Snow White combines the great playability and the enormous sound variety of the Concert Bass design with classic design elements to a characterful 5-string Bass with enormous stage presence. Here, the long 35" scale length and the flexible PJ pickup setup with active electronics promise multifaceted sounds with a cleanly integrated H-string, while the typical "Speed Neck" profile makes every Bassline loose out of the hand. A distinctive Bass Bacher 5 bridge and tuning-stable die-cast tuners complete Jackson's X Series ConcertBass CBXNT DX V Snow WhiteE-Bass .
Neck-Through Bass with Extra Longscale Scale
For the construction of the five-string ConcertBass CBXNT, Jackson relies on a neck-through construction with graphite-reinforced maple neck and poplar body wings, which guarantees a tight and precise output of the low B-string thanks to an extra long 35" scale length (889 mm). The slim "Speed Neck" neck profile and the compund radius (305 mm to 406 mm) of the Indian Laurel fingerboard, which increases from 12" to 16 ", also create the best conditions for agile playing characteristics up to the highest registers.
Flexible sound design
With the popular PJ pickup setup, which consists of a J-style single-coil pickup at the bridge and a P-style split-coil pickup in the middle position, the X Series Concert CBXNT DX V at the bass amplifier delivers a rich sound spectrum between wiry presence tone and merciless low-end growl. and to adjust the tone particularly precisely, Jackson also equips the 5-string Bass with an active 3-band equalizer for bass, midrange and treble.
First class hardware
Last but not least, Jackson completes the X Series ConcertBass CBXNT DX V Snow White with top-notch hardware. The eye-catching Jackson Bass Bacher V bridge on the body supports the precise sound character of the electric bass guitar with its extremely solid construction. At the same time five string saddles guarantee an optimal adjustment of intonation and string action. On the typical Jackson pointed headstock, encapsulated die-cast tun ers in a "5-in-line" arrangement also ensure accurate and robust tuning of the electric bass.

Jackson X Series Concert Bass CBXNT DX V Snow White
Pros: Arrived on time. Packaging was sufficient to protect it in transit. First play: looks great (imho), sounds great and plenty of tonal range. Neck plays beautifully. Lovely snarly aggressive beast. Cons: Setup could be better; a little fret buzz here and there so some tweaking will be required to truss rod and string height. Intonation slightly off so also a little bit of tweaking needed there, but nothing too dramatic. It may be because place of manufacture is Indonesia so some adjustment for European environment needed. Getting its first baptism of fire at tonight's gig.....if I love it enough I might sell my Ricky to fund other stuff 😉
