The central Element element Jackson X Series Rhoads is undoubtedly the continuous maple neck with graphite reinforcement, which trims the electric guitar to the speed of light both optically and acoustically. The flat " Speed Neck " profile in combination with the Palisander fingerboard, whose compound radius becomes flatter towards the high frets, provides an obstacle-free racetrack, so that every reef can be easily handled between the 24 Jumbo frets. In combination with the corpus wing Linde s, the Neck -Through construction also promises a quickly appealing and evenly fading basic tone that is perfect for the modern metalworker.
The electric sound conversion of the Jackson X Series Rhoads takes over the proven combination of an EMG 81 Humbucker on the bridge and an EMG 85 Humbucker on the neck, which is not for nothing a reference in the matter of juicy metal sounds. Thanks to the powerful ceramic magnets and the blade-shaped pole pieces, the EMG 81 delivers a brute Metal sound that intersperses every riff or solo in the band sound with a tight bass foundation and laser sharply focused mid-range and treble, whereby the precise attack perfectly represents every touch. The EMG 85, on the other hand, is equipped with Alnico magnets and therefore convinces with a warm yet transparent sound that makes every note sing with a long sustain.
In addition, it goes without Jackson X Series Rhoads saying that it is equipped with a Floyd Rose Special Tremolo which gives the shredder the perfect tool for expressive Whammy Bar acrobatics. This Double Locking System convinces with an unshakeable tuning stability even in the most aggressive applications of the Trmeolo lever. On the headstock, Jackson mechanics with a creamy and precise barrel are also convincing.
