Soloist in Neck-Through Construction
When building the American Series Soloist SL3, Jackson naturally relies on an elaborate neck-through construction that combines excellent handling with a powerful sound character. The heart of the guitar is continuous maple neck reinforced with graphite inlays, which turns out to be the ideal racetrack for taut riffs and lightning-fast solos thanks to the flat " speed neck" profile and the compound radius that increases from 12" to 16". The wide Cutaways of the alder body and the smooth neck transition guarantee unhindered access to the high registers, while large Sharkfin inlays and fluorescent Luminlay side-dots provide best orientation between the 24th jumbo frets of the ebony fingerboard.
Seymour Duncan pickups in HSS setup promise multi-faceted tones for rock and metal.
HSS pickup setup from Seymour Duncan.
Electrically transforming the sound of the American Series Soloist SL3 is a flexible HSS setup from Seymour Duncan that elicits a wide range of top-notch rock and metal tones from the guitar amp. As modern overwound pickups, theSeymour Duncan SSL-6 Custom Flat Strat Single Coils installed in neck and bridge position not only deliver transparent cleans with lively dynamics, but also a harmonically singing Drive for soulful solo playing. In the bridge position, on the other hand, the familiar Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker promises hot distortion sounds that cut through the Mix with sharp midrange focus and well-dosed bite in the treble even at maximum gain. A 5-way circuit with general volume and tone controls also allows you to adjust the timbre.
The American Soloist's pointed headstock carries six Gotoh locking tuners and a handy holder for the Floyd Rose tremolo keys.
High-quality hardware equipment

On the body, the Floyd Rose 1500 double-locking tremolo impresses not only with buttery smooth handling, but also with unshakable tuning stability even after the heaviest dive bombs and squeals. In addition to the convenient Gotoh MG-T clamp tuners that precisely tune the guitar and greatly simplify string changes, the American Soloist's headstock carries a holder for the tremolo system's Allen wrenches. In addition, Dunlop Straplocks hold the electric guitar securely to the guitar strap.
