The JICO J44D pickup system with the N44G IMP DJ SD(synthetic uncoated diamond tip) pickup needle delivers a vivid high-definition sound with detailed, deep, warm and fat Bass and is perfect for mixing with Control Vinyl. It produces a wide, smooth sound with musical sound resonance and 3D sound image. Not only the sound output and output power is very close to SHURE M44 pickup, but also the sampling ability of J44 pickup and tracking accuracy, which features high skip resistance and low record wear. Perfectly suited for mixing, eg. with control vinyls. JICO "SD" styli are made entirely of synthetic diamonds . Synthetic diamonds (SD) are man-made diamonds that have the same chemical composition, crystal structure, and optical/physical properties and hardness as natural diamonds (ND). Natural diamonds vary in hardness due to their natural formation, while synthetic ones offer the advantage of consistent hardness. The shape of SD tips is conical. Their guaranteed playback time has been set at 200 hours.
The J44 models of the JICO brand are a replacement for the iconic SHURE M44 cartridges.
