The JHS Pedals Ruby Red is a 2-channel boost and overdrive effect pedal, developed in close collaboration with well-known guitarist and producer Butch Walker. Based on the circuitry of the JHS Thunderbolt, the Overdive side delivers a creamy vintage drive that reacts vividly to playing technique and the guitars volume pot. Familiar controls for Drive, Tone and Volume allow for precise sound adjustment and the Plus switch is used to toggle between a lower and higher gain structure. The Ruby Red also boasts an integrated boost effect to add extra volume at the touch of a switch which can come either before or after the overdrive thanks to a handy switch. Durable aluminium casing and true bypass switching also come as standard.
