All in all for jst over 200 quid this is a bit of a bargain. The colour and binding makes this guitar stand out along with the pickguard. Thankfully it doesn't have a traditional Telecaster jack but a more modern flush to the body type. The CC pickup stands out and initially to me looked a tad out of place on a Tele style guitar but sound wise it is impressive and gives the guitar an extra dimension The bridge pickup is bright and I found I needed to roll the tone off a bit but it is a satisfactory bit of kit The guitar had a reasonable set up and only needed a bit of a tweak, the strings were Diadarrio and sounded passable. The only issue I have is the tuning pegs and will most likely change them in the near future. All in all I found it comparable to a Squire CV Telecaster but for a fair bit cheaper. A good bit of kit.
In my review a couple of days ago I stated that this was my sixth J&D guitar since 2019, that was a mistake and should have been since 1st. October 2018 (sorry).
