The Fame SA 10 HB 6-String Semi Acoustic Guitar Honey Burst evokes the classic jazz and rockabilly hollowbody guitars that have been around since the ‘50s. Capable of both mellow tones and gritty snarl, the SH 40 is perfect for just about any style of music but excels at jazz, rockabilly and blues.
Features include a Maple body with f -holes, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, two humbucking pickups and gold hardware.
The maple-laminated body of the SA 10 provides a rich wooden tone and dynamic playability, offering an acoustic-like warmth in vocal voicings and sustained chords. The voluminous instrument features traditional body shaping with F-holes and a cutaway, giving the jazz guitar a unique aesthetic.
Two Alnico humbuckers at the neck and bridge define the amplified tone of the SA 10. The warm-sounding pickups deliver clear sounds with rich high mids and trebles in the bridge position, while the neck pickup produces warm, rounded tones with a gentle low end. Both pickups have separate volume and tone controls.

It was well worth the wait, though!
It looks beautiful and plays well with a great sound. There are a number of irritating minor finishing flaws that would have been noticed with better quality control....a metallic buzz on the A string ( eliminated by adjusting the action slightly)surplus glue on the nut (easily cleaned) which is not set totally flush in it's slot on one side , two small lacquering/ painting flaws, 2 frets are proud of the fretboard on the bottom and there are 2 very small breaks/flaws in the hardwood of the fretboard. All are minor,they do not affect the playability of the instrument, most are easily fixed and they could not justify my paying twice the price for a known brand. A really beautiful instrument that plays very well and is amazing value for money.
