The J&D YC-PBJ 4-String Bass Guitar in 3-Tone Sunburst combines the pickup options from two world famous basses to create a model that is much more versatile than its price suggests.
The J&D YC-PBJ features a familiar looking basswood body that features the same contours and shape as its YC-PB brother. This is joined by a 34” scale Maple neck, topped with a 21-fret composite fingerboard with white dot inlays and finished with a classic-looking 4 inline headstock.
The body of the J&D YC-PBJ is equipped with a pair of highly versatile pickups – a J-style single coil at the bridge and a P-style split single-coil in the middle position. This setup allows for a stunningly wide array of usable tones to be easily reached thanks partly to its classic tones and partly to its simplicity. The pickups are connected to master volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup selector switch, a system that further adds to the bass’ versatility.
Completing the hardware compliment of the J&D YC-PBJ is a vintage-style rear loading bridge and a set of die-cast tuners, both finished in chrome.

This is now the third J&D bass Ive bought, they are simply superb for the money, properly setup youll struggle to find a better bass for 10x the money, they are simply that well made!!
Ive had 2 J&D j basses previously, stripped the frets and coated in epoxy for a great fretless, get a set of bartolini j bass pickups and you have a dream bass for £200.
Ok bass guitar. Frets are badly finished, but otherwise Ok. Sounds good and the neck was easy to set up properly. I got the action quite nice after waiting few weeks for the neck to settle. This bass is definitely worth the price.
Great quality, very well constructed. Easily compared to a 300 euros brand name bass, but 3 times cheaper! Nice finish, rich sound unplugged. The pickups are not great, but ok. I might change them later. Very satisfied for the money paid.
