Build your own instrument!
With the single cut DIY kit from Jack & Danny you get everything you need to build an electric guitar in a rocking singlecut design. Body, neck, electronics and hardware including mounting accessories are already pre-drilled and pre-wired, so that the assembly can be done without a fully equipped guitar workshop.
Body and neck are natural and can be varnished or waxed/oiled according to taste. All potentiometers and switches are pre-wired and only have to be soldered to the pickups, the switch of the output socket and the bridge bolt.
The two powerful Alnico humbuckers of the DIY Double Cut.
Alnico pickups and robust hardware
Amazingly powerful Humbucker pickups are part of the equipment of the do-it-yourself guitar. The two double coil pickups with Alnico magnets deliver classic rock sounds and convince with a traditional nickel cover, as could already be seen on the big model.
The necessary mounting accessories in the form of screws in various sizes, mechanisms, cover plates and strings are located on board the Jack & Danny Single Cut DIY Kit. Even the required hexagon socket wrenches are supplied.

I haven’t built this kit yet however the body and the neck look great. A fantastic starting point to put your own mark on. The body may not have a flames maple too however it’s got some really nice grain that will pop out with a sunburst. Really looking forward to building this. What’s more the price of the kit is superb. I would say that it’s an intermediate kit as there’s a bit of drilling to do and the binding will make the body a little bit more involved however all in all I’m really pleased.
The product finish is fantastic, the price is unbeatable (they sell out fast) I was missing a piece from the kit (the jack input) I'm still waiting to hear back about that. Once that's sorted I would happily buy another kit in the future
Really enjoyable experience assembling the guitar, very worth while project for beginners to learn a bit more the hardware or as a fun side project for more experienced players. Certainly won't be the highest quality instrument in the world but more than worth the price.
