Dreadnought acoustic guitar with laminated spruce top, basswood body, mahogany neck and high gloss finish
The D-60 NT in classic dreadnought design
Offering all the prerequisites for an easy introduction to playing the guitar
Overview
The J & D D-60 NT's specifications make it particularly suitable for beginners, or for advanced guitar players looking for an inexpensive second instrument for use on the road. The manufacturer pays special attention to the instrument's functionality, as this is fundamental for successful learning, especially at the beginning. Even if the appearance suffers a little here and there, the D-60 NT contains all the important cornerstones that are important when playing the guitar. Namely: easy playability, an authentic sound and smooth-running tuners.
Laminated materials and a handy neck
Thanks to its construction using a laminated spruce top and a basswood body, this large dreadnought acoustic guitar produces a warm and steely sound that unfolds very quickly. To give the instrument a classic look, the manufacturer frames the individual components of the body with simple white plastic bindings and a discreet black pickguard.
For easy playability, the manufacturer uses a mahogany neck with composite fretboard, which can be gripped in an accommodating manner up to the highest of the 20 frets by means of a narrow nut width of 43 mm. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners with easy-to-rotate knobs round off the entire product perfectly and complete this thoroughly accomplished entry-level instrument.
Service and quality control:
Even our most affordable guitars are inspected thoroughly before shipping, if necessary reworked and tuned. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the appearance of instruments from the lower price ranges will be flawless, because when choosing our low priced products, the sound and playability are the most important criteria for us.
We therefore ask you to accept small optical processing imperfections!
The J & D D-60 NT at a glance:
Dreadnought acoustic guitar
Laminated spruce top and basswood body
648 mm scale length
43 mm nut width
Mahogany neck with composite fretboard and dot inlays
For the money - a really good guitar. It feels good to play on (an adjustment of the neck saddle/string height is recommended though) and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The tone is OK too.
A good beginners choice!
