Student-acoustic guitar in traditional dreadnought style with cutaway
The D-60 with a classic dreadnought design and cutaway.
All the prerequisites for an easy introduction to playing the guitar
General overview
The J & D D-60 Cutaway NT Natural is due to its specifications particularly suitable for beginners, or for advanced guitar players who are looking for an inexpensive second instrument for use on the road. The manufacturer pays special attention to the function of the instrument, as this is fundamental for successful learning, especially at the beginning. Even if the appearance suffers a little here and there, the D-60 contains all the important cornerstones that matter when playing the guitar. Namely: an easy playability, an authentic sound and smooth tuning machines.
Spruce Top Dreadnought
Thanks to a construction consisting of a laminated spruce top and a lime body, the large dreadnought western guitar produces a warm and steely sound that unfolds very quickly. To give the instrument a classic look, the manufacturer limits the individual components of the body with plain white bindings made of plastic and a discreet black pickguard.
For an easy playability the manufacturer uses a mahogany neck with a composite fingerboard, which can be gripped obligingly with the help of a narrow nut width of 43 mm and a generous cutaway up to the highest of the 20 frets. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners with easy-to-turn knobs round off the entire product perfectly and complete the thoroughly successful entry-level instrument.
Service and quality control:
Even all very inexpensive guitars are carefully checked before shipping, reworked if necessary and pre-tuned. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that the appearance of the instruments from the low price ranges is flawless, because in the selection of our low-priced products for us primarily the sound and playability counts .
We therefore ask you to accept small optical processing deficiencies!
The J & D D-60 Cutaway NT Natural at a glance:
Dreadnought style acoustic guitar with cutaway.
Laminated spruce top and lime body
648 mm scale length
43 mm nut width
Mahogany neck with composite fingerboard and dot inlays
For the money - a really good guitar. It feels good to play on (an adjustment of the neck saddle/string height is recommended though) and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The tone is OK too.
