With this guitar you get what you pay for. The craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. While the body is actually quite nice and comfortable, the main issue lies with the neck. First, the neck itself is quite thick, which means it will not be easy for a beginner to play. Second, the the quality of the fret wires is terrible. They stick out past the edges of the fretboard and literally cut the skin on your hands as you are playing. Furthermore, the tops of the fret wires are not polished and have a very rough surface, meaning that the strings grate against them producing an awful sound. To deal with this issue requires extensive filing, sanding and polishing.
The only things this guitar has going for it are that it looks very good and it has a pretty decent humbucker for a instrument in this price range.
