Intellijel Stomp at a glance
With the Intellijel Stomp, the Eurorack world and the realm of effects pedals merge in an almost magical way. Both industries offer an enormous variety of products that allow you to create your own personal sound and also a certain addictiveness ;) The module compensates for level differences is also a loop-in point for pedals. In addition, Stomp has its own LFO, which can be used to modulate a pedal with expression input. If you prefer a different control voltage than that of the LFO you can replace it with the small EXPR socket, the intensity is dosed in both cases with the EXPR knob. The complete signal path is designed for mono signals. Via IN Stomp receives the signal from Eurorack and outputs it via MIX. The level ratios are set with Send and Return, the control MIX adds the effect signal of the pedal. furthermore you can connect a guitar directly to the RETURN jack and feed it into the modular system. Ever tried what a wavefolder, granular sampler or resonator can do with a guitar? Signals arriving at the RETURN jack pass through a class A triode emulator that assumes a tube-like overdrive at high gain settings.
