The Audio I/O 2023 from Intellijel is a level converter module for Eurorack modular systems. It converts line level to modular level on the input side. On the output side, the level is amplified to a professional, balanced line level with +4dBu. The processed signal can be used to create send/return effect loops, or routed to synthesizers, drum machines, a mixer, or recorded in a DAW with an appropriate audio interface. The 2023 version differs from its predecessor by the 180° rotated layout. At the rear, the module can be connected to 3U Mixup, 1U Xfade, 1U Stereo Mix and 1U XY I/O to increase the number of inputs for conversion to line level and to create permanent connections without patch cables. In addition, the Audio I/O 2023 can be connected at the rear to the I/O boards of the 104 and 7U Performance Cases. In this case, the large jack sockets of the cases are used and the module takes over the task of signal conversion and level control.
