Ibanez relies on a basswood body, which offers a smooth transition to the bolted Roasted Maple neck thanks to the Super All Access Neck Joint. The slim "AZ Oval C" profile in combination with the flat 12" fretboard radius offers optimal playing conditions, so that between the 24 jumbo stainless steel frets every riff and solo basically plays itself. While in neck and middle position two DiMarzio Notorious single-coil pickups with demagnetized Alnico V-magnets provide a warm vintage sound, the DiMarzio Notorious Minibucker provides a shimmering and focused sound. Last but not least, the Ibanez Tim Henson THBB10 Black is equipped with a Gotoh T1502 tremolo, which in combination with the Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and the GraphTech saddle promises smooth whammy bar action without detuning.
