Four-string electric bass with PowerSpan pickups and active electronics
In the best Soundgear tradition, the Ibanez Standard SR300E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst combines an incomparably high level of playing comfort with a modern, versatile tonal spectrum. While the streamlined Nyatoh body and slim mapleand walnutneck contribute to the agile handling of the electric bass, the reworked PowerSpan humbuckers combined with the active 3-band EQ deliver versatile tones for any style of music.
The Ibanez Standard SR300E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst offers the typical playing comfort of the Soundgear series.
Typical Soundgear playing comfort
With its Nyatoh body in the typical flowing Soundgear design, the Ibanez Standard SR300E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst offers the player a robust playing position. The four-bolt neck is five-piece maple and walnut, and the low-profile "D" fits comfortably in the hand with a jatoba fingerboard that lets fast basslines and complex grooves flow easily.
PowerSpan humbucker with active 3-band tone control
The Ibanez SR300E is equipped with Ibanez PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, which were developed especially for this bass. In combination with the active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control they cover a variable sound spectrum. Whether transparent solo and jazz sounds, dirty rock growl or rich thrust from the deepest bass cellar, the Ibanez Standard SR300E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst four-string always has the right setting for every style.
Power Tap switch for sound variability
A special feature of the Ibanez SR300E is furthermore the Power Tap switch, which switches the coils of both humbuckers from the powerful series circuit to the Tap or PowerTap mode. While the former delivers authentic single coil sounds with typical clarity and tone definition, the latter adds a fundamental bass component to this sound.
High-quality hardware with unshakable reliability
On the body side, the strings of the Ibanez SR300E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst are held by the proven Accu-Cast B120 bridge, which contributes significantly to the long and even decaying sustain of the bass due to its solid construction. At the same time, 19 mm string spacing provides room for clean strokes, even with a hearty grip, while the ball ends, which can be hooked in from the top, make string changes much easier. At the headstock, the strings are held by reliable die-casttuners that guarantee precise tuning.

An amazing instrument for the money. Low weight, excellent tones, smoothest and least sticky neck I've used on any guitar/bass in this price range. Had it for about 3 weeks now, can't find a fault on it. Sure, it doesn't sound quite like a bass 10 times the price, but I would gig with this any day.
