The Ibanez Standard RGA42FML-BLF Lefthand Blue Lagoon Burst Flat is a lefthanded electric guitar for rock and metal featuring a trendy finish, great playability and versatile sounds. It consists of a meranti body, which not only carries a chic flamed maple top, but also allows for unhindered access to all positions of the "Wizard III" neck due to its wide cutaways. The Ibanez Quantum humbuckers provide differentiated rock and metal sounds, while the high-quality hardware guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure.
The Ibanez Standard RGA42FML Lefthand has an arched top made of flamed maple and Quantum humbuckers for versatile sounds between rock and metal.
The Ibanez Standard RGA42FML Lefthand skilfully combines smart looks with contemporary playability. The slim meranti body is covered with a flamed maple top, whose intense flame is accentuated by the transparent Blue Lagoon Burst Finish. The wide cutaways allow for unhindered access to the high positions of the bolt-on maple neck in the extremely fast "Wizard III" profile, providing the ideal basis for complex riffs and virtuoso solos.
Ibanez Quantum humbuckers for differentiated sounds
The Ibanez Standard RGA42FML-BLF Lefthand Blue Lagoon Burst Flat uses two Ibanez Quantum humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Equipped with powerful ceramic magnets, these pickups deliver differentiated sounds for modern rock and metal that don't lose their contour even at drop tunings. The bridge humbucker convinces with its aggressive sound, with a laser sharply focused midrange spectrum in the band sound, while the neck pickup lets every note sing with smooth sustain. The pickups are controlled via a 3-way blade switch and master volume and master tone controls.
Ibanez hardware for unlimited joy of playing
The high-quality hardware equipment guarantees an unlimited joy of playing. The Ibanez F106 Fixed Bridge sits firmly on the body, supporting a fast attack with the strings running through the body. Six individually adjustable string saddles guarantee perfect intonation and a comfortable string position. From the bridge the strings run with 25.5" scale length (648 mm) towards the headstock, where Ibanez tuners ensure precise and stable tuning of the electric guitar.

Ibanez Standard RGA42FML-BLF Lefthand Blue Lagoon Burst Flat
The guitar is well built as expected from Ibanez, i tried a few models and decided on an RGA, mostly because i like the arch top, i dont like the hard edges of the RG models and while the body shape of the S series fits me well and the hardwars is much the same , the S series guitars are super thin..... This particular guitar i had to return as there is a tiny dent on the neck by the first fret but there models are mass produced so somtimes a few small imperfections slip through the net..... i must say the guitar was very well 'set up' and played great out of the box. To be honest i have not plugged it into an amp as i am returning it so didn't wan't to remove the plastic covering the pickups so i cannot review the sound but i gave 5 stars anyway because it's an Ibanez! There is one small 'smudge' on the front so i gave 4 stars for 'optic'.... The guitar is well made and other than the tiny dent on the neck
