Comfortable headless design

For the Quest Q54W, Ibanez has opted for an extremely comfortable design without a headstock tailored to technically adept guitarists' wishes. The flat Nyatoh body sits perfectly on the player thanks to its generously shaped contours, while the All Access Neck Joint and the wide Cutaways make the entire neck playable. The neck is made in three pieces from roasted maple and bubinga and, with its pleasantly slim Wizard C profile, creates the best conditions for agile string work on the 24-fret fretboard made from roasted birdseye maple.

Flexible HSS pickup setup

With the HSS pickup setup specially developed for the guitar and the innovative dyna-MIX9 circuit, which calls up nine different combinations of pickups via 5-way switch and Alter Switch, the Ibanez Quest Q54W delivers particularly versatile clean and overdrive sounds for the modern styles of fusion and rock. Both the R1 single coils and the Q58 humbucker impress with an even reproduction of all frequencies and a clearly audible string separation, even with complex chord voicings.
