The Ibanez Standard SR405EQM-DEB Dragon Eye Burst does not only convince with the elegant look of its cloud maple top, but also with an enormous variety of sounds for almost every musical style. The electric bass also features a mahogany body and a screwed maple walnut neck with jatoba fingerboard, while Ibanez Power Span pickups and an active 3-band tone control provide the electrical tone conversion. Last but not least, the Ibanez Standard SR405EQM is equipped with the Ibanez Accu-Cast B305 bridge and precise Ibanez die-cast bass mechanisms.
As a representative of the popular Soundgear family, the Ibanez Standard SR405EQM also convinces with an incomparably high playing comfort. Accordingly, the mahogany body with its curved line assumes a perfectly balanced position both on the strap and on the thigh, while the five-part maple walnut neck lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the flat "SR5" profile, so that every note plays itself on the Jatoba fingerboard. A further visual highlight is the cloud maple top, whose intensive grain is brought to life by the transparent finish.
The Ibanez Standard SR405EQM-DEB Dragon Eye Burst features two Ibanez Power Span Dual Coil pickups in the middle and bridge positions, which provide the basis for a versatile sound spectrum with perfect integration of the low B-string. In addition to the powerful humbucker mode, two further coil combinations can be called up via the "Power Tap" switch. The "Tap" mode delivers transparent single coil sounds, while the "Power Tap" mode stands for bold, yet finely articulated sounds. Last but not least, the active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control is available for precise tuning of the sound character.
Furthermore, the Ibanez standard SR405EQM-DEB Dragon Eye Burst is equipped with the high-quality and indestructible hardware typical for Ibanez instruments. Accordingly, the Ibanez Accus-Cast B305 bridge is used on the body, which supports an even sound development and sustain with its massive construction. Five individually adjustable string riders guarantee an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position. Ibanez Die-Cast bass tuners on the matching headstock also ensure precise and stable tuning.
