While an intensely grained curly maple top on the ergonomically designed basswood body catches the eye, the oiled "AZ Oval C" roasted maple neck creates the best conditions for agile handling and the problem-free implementation of complex techniques. An HSH pickup setup with the popular DiMarzio Air Norton, True Velvet and The Tone Zone pickups also elicits powerful clean and overdrive tones from the guitar amp with razor-sharp articulation of every note played. Of course, Ibanez completes the Prestige AZ2407F-SDE Sodalite professional Gotoh Hardware in the form of a smooth T1502S tremolo and tuning stable MG-T Locking tuners.

Bolt-On guitar with optimized handling

The proven bolt-on construction of the Prestige AZ2407F pays special attention to the ideal combination of dignified looks and first-class playing and sound characteristics. While the 4 mm thick curly maple top catches everyone's attention, the ergonomic design of the linden body promises trouble-free handling of the guitar both while sitting and standing at the strap. The flowing Super All Access Neck Joint also promises unobstructed access to the highest registers of the bolt-on neck made of S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple, which, thanks to its oil finish and slim "AZ Oval C" profile, creates the best conditions for playfully implementing even the most complex playing techniques. In addition to 24 stainless steel frets in jumbo format, on which bendings go precisely and as if on rails from the hand, the fretboard of the electric guitar carries abalone inlays and fluorescent side dots to mark the layers.

To transform the Prestige AZ2407F into a great-sounding all-around guitar for rock and metal, Ibanez relies on a classic HSH pickup setup with pickups from DiMarzio. In the bridge position, the powerful DiMarzio The Tone Zone humbucker elicits extremely fat and punchy distortion sounds from the guitar amp, which are surprisingly sensitive to the velocity, allowing for expressive riffing and solos. In neck position, on the other hand, the DiMarzio Air Norton delivers warm tones with a rich overtone spectrum for singing leads and rich cleans, while the DiMarzio True Velvet Single Coil in mid position contributes glassy and brilliant tones. In addition to the 5-way blade switch that recalls the pickup in the usual combinations, general volume and tone pots allow precise adjustment of the guitar sound.
