IBANEZ Premium BTB 1606 Deep Twilight Flat
The BTB1606 from the Ibanez Premium Series is a fully grown premium bass with flawless workmanship and a differentiated sound. The neck is made of nine stripes of wenge, bubinga and maple, which in combination with the body wings made of mahogany provide a differentiated sound with long sustain. This is authentically captured by the big singles of the American noble forge Nordstrand and transmitted to the amplifier with natural dynamics, whereby even low H and high C strings are harmoniously integrated into the sound. Thanks to the active 3-band electronics with semi-parametric mids, the sound can be precisely adjusted.
High-quality hardware in the form of Ibanez Mono-Rail IV single bars, which give each string optimum vibration characteristics, and indestructible Gotoh tuners complete the equipment of the Ibanez Premium BTB 1606.

I own this bass and I can easily say it's a great quality for your money, plays very easily and the sound is really nice and punchy, mostly suited for rock and metal music. No wonder Steve Di Giorgio plays a 5 string fretless custom version of this one ;) Ibanez delivers really nice basses recently and the price tags are less than you would expect in such quality basses.
