Ibanez Premium AZ226-BKF Black Flat

With the Ibanez Premium AZ226-BKF Black Flat, Ibanez is launching an electric guitar designed to meet the tonal and technical demands of modern fusion guitarists. The instrument has a body made of Linden in superstrat design, whose tummy cut and forearm contouring provide a comfortable playing position even during longer sessions. For unhindered access to the highest positions of the 22-fret Roasted Maple fretboard, the AZ226 features the patented and redesigned Super All-Axcess Neck Joint, which eliminates the need for a disturbing neck foot and provides an ideal thumb rest. From a sonic point of view, the Ibanez Premium AZ226 uses a Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickup set consisting of a humbucker and two single-coils. Accordingly, the AZ produces airy and articulate single coil sounds in neck and middle position, while the bridge humbucker is easily available for hotter sounds. All pickups are controlled by the innovative DynaMIX9 circuit, whose Alter Switch gives access to nine different sounds including serial circuits between the pickups.
