The hollowbody instrument offers a vibrant top made of solid spruce on a maple body for maximum acoustic resonance, while the neck made of three strips of maple and nyatoh wood with PM profile ensures the best conditions for vocal jazz leads and complex Chords. The Ibanez Pat Metheny PM3C uses a PM Special pickup in the neck position to transform the sound. The pickup in the classic Charlie Christian design delivers a particularly honest sound with a direct response that knows how to skillfully reproduce every tonal nuance.
