The MiKro series offers Ibanez the right gear for young shredders! The miniature RG with a shortened scale of 22.2" and a maple neck with a specially designed GRGM profile is ideal for smaller hands, while two of the regular line-up's Infinity Humbucker in neck and bridge position for powerful arguments. Last but not least, the axe with its classic fingerboard Sharktooth inlays, which can be taken quite seriously, comes with waistband marking and a noble White finish.
Lovely little thing, great for son to learn on and I can always use it as a travel guitar. Setup is poor out of the box, changing to a heavier gage string improves the performance. Overall very pleased with the guitar.

Good entry level guitar for 6 years+. I would suggest changing the strings for a heavier gauge (10 or 11) as the stock 9’s go out of tune due regularly to the nature of it being a short scale guitar. Well finished, although I did lower the action on the saddles and had to correct the intonation a little bit. Neck is straight and frets have no sharp edges. Pickups are ok, a little bit lacking in clarity and noisy, but to be expected on a guitar in the price range. Overall a good entry level guitar for a younger player or someone with smaller hands.
