RG550 Reissue Electric Guitar for Left-Handers from the Ibanez Genesis Series
With the Ibanez Genesis Collection returns Ibanez to the roots of RG from 1987. Classic shapings authentically reproduce the famous Super Strats of the Japanese guitar maker, while authentic Hardware ones in the form of Ibanez V7/V8 pickups Ibanez Edge Tremolo and slim maple Super Wizard necks provide juicy sounds and proven handling.
The Ibanez Genesis RG550L-DY Desert Sun Yellow is the authentic recreation of the RG550 from 1987. Two Ibanez V7/V8 Humbucker and one S1 Single Coil form the pickup setup of the RG550, while the then newly introduced Ibanez Edge tremolo system with Locking saddle is used. The 5-striped maple neck in the Super Wizard profile ensures proven lean RG handling.

Ibanez Genesis RG550L-DY Lefthand Desert Sun Yellow
This is my 5th guitar (my 3rd Ibanez) and, to be honest, this is the best guitar I own. The other two Ibanez are the Premium RG721MSM and the Prestige UV777P-BK.
It's really comfy despite the neck joint and the pickups sound really clean despite the fact they are not DiMarzios.
The only thing I missed was a case for the guitar, but I paid 851€. 11/10 value for the money.

You know what you’re getting with this. Pure 80s metal cheese with state of the art Japanese craftsmanship. Some people might prefer more modern pickups, but that almost defeats the whole putpose of this guitar. Mega playable bending and dive bombing heaven! The finish is amazing as is the setup. Plays and feels as good as guitars at twice the value. Highly recommended.
