Ibanez BTB 686 SC NTF Natural Flat

The Ibanez BTB686SC 6-string bass guitar in Natural Flat is part of the brand new Bass Workshop range that is designed to inspire and bring what were previously one-off concept models to the masses.

The Ibanez BTB686SC features a single-cut body style and neck-thru design that combine to provide increased stability and sustain and make the guitar look like a much more boutique, high-end model.  The body wings feature an ash back with a rosewood top that look visually stunning and help to enhance the natural resonance of the guitar.  The neck is a 35” scale, five-piece maple and bubinga masterpiece that helps to improve low string definition and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays.

The Ibanez BTB686SC comes equipped with a pair of passive Bartolini BH1-6 pickups that produce the perfect balance between clarity and warmth and provide a tight bottom end response with a much fuller midrange.  Accompanying the pickups is an EBG-IIIS active three-band EQ system with independent bass, treble and mid controls and mid-frequency select switch that combine to allow for an amazingly wide array of tones to be easily achieved.

To finish everything off, the Ibanez BTB686SC is fitted with a 6-string Mono-Rail II bridge that allows for each individual string to vibrate freely without either affect or being affected by any of the others.
