In designing the Ibanez Artcore Vintage ASV10AL, Ibanez follows the proven scheme for a semi hollow electric guitar. Accordingly, the body is made of maple laminate and a solid centre block, which prevents feedback at high volumes without suppressing the warm resonance in the sound. The pleasantly rounded profile of the Mahaogni neck also lies comfortably in the hand and allows every lick to slip easily out of your fingers on the rosewood fingerboard.
Ibanez Classic Elite Pickups
The Ibanez Artcore Vintage ASV10A-TCL Tobacco Burst Low Gloss features two Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers in neck and bridge position. Equipped with ceramic magnets and a moderate output, they skilfully capture the woody warmth of the hollow body construction and a convincing amplifier with a dynamic sound image whose silky brilliance lets every note shine. The pickups are controlled conventionally via a 3-way toggle switch as well as individual volume and tone controls.
