Classic construction for the Ibanez Artcore Vintage AFV10A
For the construction of the Ibanez Artcore Vintage AFC10A, Ibanez uses the proven scheme for hollow body electric guitars. Accordingly, the body is made of laminated maple, which gives the sound a striking resonance with a lot of "wood" in the tone. The pleasantly rounded profile of the glued mahogany neck also lies comfortably in the hand, so that even complex jazz lines can be easily handled on the rosewood fingerboard.
Ibanez Classic Elite Pickups
The Ibanez Artcore Vintage AFV10A-TRL Transparent Cherry Red Low Gloss features two Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers in neck and bridge position. Equipped with ceramic magnets and a moderate output, they skilfully capture the woody warmth of the hollow body construction and a convincing amplifier with a dynamic sound image whose silky brilliance lets every note shine. The pickups are controlled conventionally via a 3-way toggle switch as well as individual volume and tone controls.
Hardware with Antique Finish
The Ibanez Artcore Vintage AFV10A is completed by an indestructible hardware finish in Antique Chrome, which harmoniously complements the Relic finish. The Ibanez VT60 tailpiece with an ornamental look serves as tailpiece, from which the strings are guided over the proven Ibanez ART-1 bridge. By mounting it on a wooden base, this not only contributes to the striking sound, but also enables precise adjustment of intonation and string position. In addition, Ibanez tuners on the headstock ensure accurate and stable tuning.
