Electro-acoustic guitar in AEG design for left-handed players
With the Ibanez AEG70L-TIH Lefthand Tiger Burst High Gloss, the manufacturer Ibanez expands its rich assortment for left-handed players with a compact AEG-style acoustic guitar with cutaway and pickup system, which also enhances its warm sound. A completely laminated construction consisting of a maple top and a sapele body produces a powerful tone, which unfolds clearly and directly in the mid- as well as in the treble frequencies. Thanks to a flat Nyatoh neck with a walnut fretboard, the acoustic guitar can be comfortably gripped in all frets, which in combination with a generous cutaway are especially easy to reach. The coarse-grained fretboard measures 43 mm at the nut, so that there is enough space to grip even complicated fingerings easily and cleanly. Equipped with a proprietary Ibanez AEQ-TTS pickup system, the AEG70L-TIH is ideal for use on stage or in the rehearsal room and allows individual adjustment of the amplified sound via a 3-band equalizer. Supported by an integrated tuner, chrome-plated die-cast tuners allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which, with the help of a compensated bridge insert, intonate cleanly over the entire scale length of 634 mm. The instrument is rounded off with a tiger burst high-gloss finish, which gives the guitar a noble appearance.
