SCÍON by Instruo specializes in random voltages and sees itself as a bridge between plants, humans and living things and a Eurorack modular system. Strictly speaking, the module is a biofeedback sensor built into a quadruple random voltage generator. SCÍON gets the origin of all coincidences from the wired biosensor, which is fixed to the leaf of a houseplant or from the capacitive sensor in leaf form at the bottom right of the module. Tiny fluctuations in the surface conductivity of the organic material stimulate changes in the control voltage and gate signal. The resulting voltages enter four similarly constructed random voltage generators, which are playable by gate-in and trigger buttons. Possible to very likely occurring parameter jumps can be smoothed separately at each channel via slew limiter. A "living patch" is to be taken absolutely literally with SCÍON!
