IMG Stageline MEQ-115/SW at a glance

The MEQ-115/SW from IMG Stage line is a graphic equalizer that has been specially developed to adapt a music system to the room acoustics. It has a 2-channel version with 15 frequency controls each for boosting and attenuating frequency band levels in the range from 25 Hz to 16 kHz. The control range of these controls can be switched from ±6 dB to ±12 dB, allowing flexible adaptation to different acoustic environments.

Technically, the MEQ-115/SW offers two channels with 15 frequency controls each, arranged in 2/3 octave steps. This enables detailed and precise control of the sound. A switchable low-pass filter (low cut) helps to eliminate unwanted low-frequency noise, while a peak display informs the user of peak levels. There is a separate control for the overall volume

The Equalizer also offers practical functions such as a bypass switch and a ground lift switch to minimize noise and hum. The frequency controls have a center detent for precise adjustment. Inputs and outputs are provided via 2 x XLR and 2 x 6.3 mm jack plugs, ensuring high compatibility with different audio systems.
