IK Multimedia Pianoverse BlackDiamond B280 in License Code Version
Based on a Bösendorfer 280 Vienna Concert - also known as Concert Grand 280VC - this Pianoverse BlackDiamond B280 VST from IK Multimedia delivers a uniquesound that can effortlessly convey darkermoods while retaining the warmmusicality that the Austrian capital is known for. The Bösendorfer model is a 9' concert grand piano first introduced in 1828 and used by many of the world's leading pianists. To bring this special sound to you, the piano has been extensivelysampled with the help of a robot to create an authenticsound with great dynamics. The easyplayability, the widesound spectrum and therichness ofpartials are convincing from the first played note and help you to get the best out of your music productions.
Great recordings for a great piano
To record this spectacular grand piano at the legendary Fonoprint Studios in Bologna, DPA microphones were used for close miking, while Schoeps microphones were the mid-distance coincident pair. The location is an old 15th century monastery that over the years has hosted the best Italian and international artists - from Ennio Morricone to Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli.
New engine, infinite expression
Pianoverse products introduce a powerful new performance engine that perfectly reproduces the feel of the world's finest pianos while offering an inspiring range of malleable soundscapes - from iconic to exotic.
